Interesting people have chosen Chinese actresses for Achur characters...I always thought Achur were more Japanese through their presence in the State (State Wakisashi, State Shukuro Buke, Samurai etc.) and also because of their names on Carbon random name generator (Akiga, Tekitsu, Sunji)...and Jin-Mei were the Space Chinese with names like Shi, Guang, Tian, Han, Gao etc.

The bonus is, he's sufficiently jarheaded and able to pull off a cold, emotionless stare easily.
