  • Creation is so precious, and greed so destructive.

Which is a fancy way of saying, who would play your character in an EVE movie / miniseries / etc.

For Casi, I currently envision someone like Keira Knightley, or perhaps Winona Ryder circa 1997. Though it strikes me that they'd need to be a little shorter.

Zu - Gina Torres - the woman who played Zoey in the series Firefly.

I'd have to think awhile on Deanna.

Man, it's been a long time since we've had one of these threads.

I'd say Katee Sackhoff had the physicality, presence, and intense stare to do it. Plus she can at least fake her way through smoking a cigar.

Lucy Lawless has a rather Ashar-like face, but is sort of a joke half the time now. And Demi Moore, in GJ Jane, would about do it. Except she's kind of off...but then again, so's Ashar.

Oh, that's easy.

Katla would definitely have to be played by Tilda Swinton. She'd be a perfect fit.  :)

Scarlett johansson, with the caveat that she bears as much resemblance to Cia as Julia Roberts does to the real Erin Brokovitch ...

Camille would obviously have to be played by Abigail Breslin ...

Jack Madison -Russel Crowe, if I didn't have a time machine to go back and cast Jack Thompson circa 1975

Nerila - definitely Maribel Verdu

I'd have to think about the rest of the alt parade.

Depends on which Miz we're talking about. I've got several. At least two would be portrayed well by Milla Jovovich.

If we have a nice special effects budget, I would morph Jodi Lyn O'Keefe's head onto Beth Phoenix's body.

If we can choose but one, Gina Carano.

For Ember I think Katee Sackhoff would be best. Shes about 4 inches too short but it doesnt matter too much in movies. I kinda based Ember off of Starbuck anyway so it would be a role she is used too.

Joseph Kucan. Pulls of the complete and utter calm yet badass attitude.

Since Rodj is such a good-looking charmer, he should be played by either George Clooney or Brad Pitt.

But Richard Wilson is more likely to be cast in the role.

While I have a fairly set idea of what Gottii looks like, I really cant think of an actor that I would cast to play him.

Not sure if thats a good or bad thing.

Maybe part of it is the lack of roles for massive, scarred, tattooed actors in Hollywood.  Maybe another part of it is Ive tried to intentionally make his personality in marked contrast to his apperance.

However, I would be interested to hear if any of my regular RP buddies would have a take on how to cast him.

All the asian acresses I can think off are too pretty to fit, its really frustrating, I guess I could settle for a more ugly Zhang Ziyi.  :bash:

Too bad the only actress I'd pick for Shae is from the early 'talkies' era -- Nancy Carroll.
