See most recent catacombs post.

i don't get it.  frankly the summary that resulted from the request really helped make clear what the OP Was trying to do.  Both the request and the response were extremely constructive.

The initial "TL;DR" post was inappropriate and was catacombed. Standard procedure is to remove posts that directly respond to modded content so that there is not a discontinuity in the thread's posts.

Morwen's Law:
1) The number of capsuleer women who are bisexual is greater than the number who are lesbian.
2) Most of the former group appear lesbian due to a lack of suitable male partners to go around.
3) The lack of suitable male partners can be summed up in most cases thusly: interested, worth the air they breathe, available; pick two.

People can also feel free to repost constructive content.

Which gives you extra post count, since the cataed threads aren't deleted.

Don't see how simply putting TLDR is a constructive request.

But each their own I guess.

It isn't, which is why it was moderated.

Going to have to side against the mods on this. It might not be too tactful, but nor is there anything inherently problematic with a tl;dr request in a thread that really did have some serious wall of text issues. As others also noted, it actually produced a very good summary of what it was all about.

So, I have a question then: What exactly made it modworthy?

Because, frankly, asking "can you condense that down a bit so I can understand it" seems like a perfectly logical and reasonable request to me, and that's basically what a tl;dr is.

Was it a tone thing? If so I think that's kind of silly as well, but will respect the mod decision to moderate the original post. I do think this highlights the need for an exceptions rule to the "automatically mod all responses, even if later ones are constructive" thing.

My apologies to Jikahr, to whom my post was directly addressed. I thought it was pertinent to the point you were making, though only tangentially so.

I tldr'ed it and Jikahr obliged. I got what I wanted. Frankly, I don't give a shit that it was modded. Maybe jeka found it offensive? Maybe someone reported for their own reason? Who cares. Would've actually been a relevant moderation if jeka modded before an answer. Even then. I could just pm jikahr, he seems pretty cool. At least on the bright side we know jeka is alive and well and finally posting/modding again. Possibly a bit bitter too.

Also actual moderation quote, not inappropriate at all.  ;)

Probably a thing with today's internet, but it was probably not the intention behind the post, granted.

I say worse things than you. I don't think I've ever reported you either. I did report this thread (OP) for unnecessary drama. I would rather just be cool with mods and bronies and talk about eve stuff. I don't think I've ever been intentionally mean to anyone here.

And kat, you of all people. I quoted in agreement!
