Space-Future News Rides Again (ANN)
« on: 12 May 2014, 13:19 »

Hi Folks,

Now that I'm back in the game, I'm rather keen to get some of my old projects moving, the biggest of which is ANN.

For the uninitiated, ANN (Arcadia News Network) is (was?) an independent, impartial IC EVE new site funded by various shady, but distanced groups. We had a fairly good run, but the site fell into disuse when I took time out of EVE. A few regular writers stayed around and added content for a bit, but this tailed off fairly rapidly and things got rather quiet.

Anyway, now I've found more time to devote to EVE again, I figured I could start asking people if they were up to being full or part-time writers for ANN. Ideally I'm looking for three or four people who can contribute to a regular column, plus folks who just want to submit Freelance work here and there. We used to pay Freelancers in ISK for content, but I need to take a look at the corporate wallet and figure out rates before I can confirm anything there.

Post here, PM me or mail me ingame for interest!

Oh, and any input on the site, what I should try and cover, or general feedback is more than welcome. You can even tell me I'm terrible if you want. Really, I don't mind.

The site can be found here. Some of the content/info on there is a bit dated, so bear with me while I clear things up.  :)

I can confirm that my personal experience having Katrina's article written was enjoyable, with a highly satisfactory result. ANN might be biased IC, but Milo here is easy and fair to work with OOC.

It is indeed. I usually run a PHP rotator with four banners on it, but at the moment there's only one two paid-up banners. Drop me a line ingame and we can discuss specifics  :)

EDIT: Remembered there were two banners in credit.

What is the cost of one on those banners?

The going rate for banners is presently 30mISK/Month. I'll be capping the amount on the rotator at 4.
