On the 0.0 side of a highsec-to-nullsec stargate, there's three hurricanes and a dramiel camping. Mostly making use of some old bubbles that are still there, and snagging unsuspecting ships coming in from highsec. They didn't have a dictor on hand, so anything that was too fast for them or didn't get caught in the existing bubbles would pass right on by. We're getting ships out of 0.0 and we keep passing through this bad gatecamp in pods every time we go on, plus we had tactical safes off the gate to avoid the bubbles. After five or six passes by them, I felt sorry for them, so I thought I would cheer up their day...

So I go pick up a bunch of contraband drugs while I grab my last ship. Crash, Drop, Mindblood, X-Instinct... basic narcotics... it seemed like a good party favor to give, right? Everyone likes some drugs while they gatecamp! We head back to the highsec gate, and I throw this out in local from the safety of my tactical safe.

As soon as I drop out of warp right on top of the gate, I pop a can out and jump through.

I thought the fun was over already... but then my FC decides to reship and crash their gatecamp.

I get a devious idea. I tell my FC, they have drugs now, so if they retreat to highsec when we crash the camp... bad things will happen with the police. He agrees, we all laugh. I prepare a little message for local while we gather on the gate.

We jump through.

They all jump back through to highsec, since they didn't engage. One of our pilots scared them off by engaging while I was tackling in my frig. So with them all gone, we go back to highsec too after our aggression timer wears off...

I am bad about getting butthurt over losses, but have been getting better at shrugging them off.  I have found it to be a rewarding change.  The fights have been more enjoyable.  Nowadays, I open a chat and ask what I could have done better, and how bad did I suck.  People have generally given me good tips, and the mutual respect is growing.
