Also even though I'm going on 12 years playing this game, you should know my character started as an ECM specialist.  :cube:

Back in the days jams weren't probability based, but additive and all-or-nothing.

I'm so old.

Nope, I am Australian! If you had to fight the wildlife to get to your mail box you'd be the same :P

And That is okay Vivage, this game has way to many modules and stuff to know everything 100% just confused me a bit cause I thought i read it right, but no harm :) and something i noticed last night making fits for my Corporation was that most ECM boats have a longer max targeting range, about 20km more then the Gallente Sensor Damp Boats, and give or take 50 above and below in Scan Res, so I say it purely depends on what boat you rock up with, but my ECM Blackbird (My little Poison Ivy, :D hehe!) has a 27k EHP tank, with 9.22 Jam strength, at 70km Optimal, 140km Falloff as of right now, and can lock a Cruiser in 2.2s :) Frigates take like 4-7 seconds depending (MWD or Sig). That and I like the idea of jamming out people, like last night aI was at Amarr, and this guy kept using his Guardian to help people in duels, so I kept jamming him out :) and local was so worth it! :D

Starfall, what is inverse falloff? :/

And no! Don't be sorry! I love it! Nobody in my Corporation knows anything about ECM or EWAR in general, so I like this :D

Thanks for all your replies :D

Doesn't ECM have an inverse falloff so it has myopia?

Nope. :) For example, check out the UniWiki article, it doesn't mention inverse falloff. I've heard people talking about inverse falloff for all kinds of modules, but it doesn't exist in Eve.

P.S. Hi Kyoko :cube: Good to see old names around.
