Depends on the subgroup. Remember that you indeed submerging yourself in one of the greatest cesspools known to the internet and as such expect lots of trolling, deliberate shitposting, and just plain stupidity. There are some gems in the cesspool, though - I personally find some of the guys over at /tg/ running group-sourced campaigns to be pretty fantastic - and if you don't mind sorting through the shit to find the gems there can be some pretty rewarding stuff.
