Hands down the most unique singer I've ever come across. Her songs range from intensely emotional, to upbeat, dancable tracks alongside slow and relaxing acoustic guitar. Seriously, you should all listen to this.

I would recommend Slowbirth, Mechanics of Emotion, Nobody Knows and Time for Us in particular.

System of a Down, various albums, 'cause I bought tockets for their Waking Up The Souls tour.
Give Marmelade a listen if you have not already, I find it quite catchy. It's been around for years, but you may have missed it.
Also, Pearl Jam's Black is getting quite a few plays lately.
