I also questioned why the Guristas, who in my eyes are the very representatives of "legitimate" businessman, would want to help the Sansha of all people. Regardless, the attacks bring more customers to less then secure locales so I can see my part in causing trouble being perfectly reasonable.

I can think of plenty of things that the Guristas would do, just nothing in space especially pew-pew wise.

We have only to look at criminals in war-torn or disaster-stricken states to see how profiteers will abuse the situation.
