At first I really wasn't going to get involved in this beyond popping some peeps.... then I started listening in on people and things started snowballing from there.

It was a fun final half hour, figuring out what was going on, and who had who beat in the game of galactic misinformation. More good fun finding out some of my guesses were true or not far off the mark. (Like I would be at work in the lead up)

As for the server shattering fight. I imagine I am alive, in a safespot, and probally didn't get anyone. But coming out even ain't bad.

Now to get out of my work clothes, finally.

So, ghostie was *curliemoustache* in local, but really as an attempt to generate combat/crossfire, it was effectively "standard nullsec blobnight". We got kills, lost a phoon, warped out, docked, laughed on vent. Generally an entertaining event, so thanks ghostie for sacrificing a widow to put it on for us *golfclaps*

At first I thought it was a fight about guns. (Big fleets!)

Then I thought it was a fight about information. (Hacking RP)

Once I started looking around at all the reds, I thought it must be a fight about intelligence. (Wait, where are the Sansha...?)

Then, in the end, I discovered it was a fight about server load.    And that was a battle for which I had not come prepared.

Very fun evening, even if it wasn't the all-out counter-Sansha battle I thought it would be earlier this afternoon.

Though I must say, as much as everyone wants to credit Ghost for it -- and don't get me wrong a number of us played significant parts in this -- Drake Arson really deserves the credit for orchestrating this.

He was the conductor, we were merely the instrumentals.
