So I'm in Korea for work shit, and I finally break down and buy myself a laptop, because the TV here is just so grand. But it's not like I can just bust out playing call of duty or some crazyness on an ordinary laptop so I download eve and find myself without access to my account anymore. Seems someone's gone and made off with it, changing the email, passwords, etc.

Never happened to me before and I'm past my rage. But I figured a heads up in case Goshien's thiefy bastardo player crosses your path.

Goshien - put in a support petition or something with a second account - CCP monitors account activity VERY closely, and it's possible that attempting to log in from Korea triggered a "omgwtf" flag response and had your account seized as a well-intended method of keeping it safe.

Unfortunately no, I've been in contact with them and that's how I found out that my stuff had been changed. Whether I'll end up back in possession of the account or not is still up in the air.

This happened to me once. I got a key-logger on my old PC's system(again) and were in danger of losing my accounts(again).

However, this time I was to slow to re-claim one of my accounts and lost it. I did however manage to get it back...

By borrowing 5 billion from a 3rd party and buying the character back, from the fuck-tard who stole it in the first place.

It took months to re-pay the 3rd party, mostly with IRL cash converted to plex, and sold.

You might want to keep an eye on the buy/sell bazars and see if anyone wanna sell your character - it's usually what these worthless pricks want. If the prize is not to high you might buy it back, if CCP can't help you get it back.

For your sake I hope CCP get you your character back and ban this juvenile little whore-son back into his basement. I honestly hate this kind of crap - having your possesions stolen from you then practically ransomed back.
