I personally would only recruit RP corps, but its not really up to me, and I suspect we'll be recruiting a lot of non-rpers ala-CVA and U'K

I want a healthy mix of both.

There's just going to be no way to accomplish the goals I have for the alliance while just recruiting from the RP community only. There's just not enough people interested in Angels.

RP in alliance chat is not required. There are multiple channels for members to RP in, including an alliance IC channel, your corp's IC channel and an alliance bar run by -RIA-. If you choose to have your corp chat completely IC, that's fine as well.

And yes, it has been said. We're looking for corps. Specifically ship production corps and pvp corps. I'm also looking for a handful of pilots willing to run an academy where we will recruit new players or old players new to pvp

The way I see it: If people who are in the alliance work for the betterment of the alliance they are working for the Cartel through that and thus can be seen as "roleplaying" even thought they might never set foot into an RP channel.

But some people are put off by the idea of RP... like I was before I really got into it. I had to be eased into it and I'm sure many others will need to be as well. There is nothing gained by forcing it upon them, let them join the RP channels and interact as they wish
