I did have an IC argument with a few IRED over something completely trivial several years ago, and launched a several-year secret scheme of IC ponzi scheme, money scams, and paying ridiculous sums of money for a GHSC contract to heist and terminate IRED.

This was done about 95% IC, and kept secret for about two years. 

As far as I know GHSC did insert their spais and infiltrators and work their magic to get things ready.  Things were supposedly 'ready to go' and Istvaan dropped off the planet. Couldn't get a hold of him.

It's true that most of the contract was paid by other players whom I schemed IC to give money for fake investments.

This would have been sort of my magnum opus as an IC villian, and we had hoped to have it finished in time for the 'true eve stories' submission.

Now either Istvaan stole a lot of people's money and is living on an IC beach somewhere or he just decided he wasn't interested, I have no idea.  I haven't heard from him in about 6 months.

Anyway I thought this might be some interesting fodder for a discussion.  I love IRED ooc, but I've always maintained that this is separate from me shooting and ruining all your things in the game.   I spent literally years working on this plot, scheming the money and working on it nearly 100% IC only, and them's the breaks that it failed miserably, and I might have had more fun with an Aeon or something

I still think Istvaan is going to show up some day (probably soon now that his reputation is tarnished), and finish the job.

I can't say there's much that we can feasibly do to stop it, but I can say that I-RED will probably not collapse unless the hit somehow gets John to quit.

Unless he's managed to get one of his own people as an RDC director.

Yeah had it happened it wouldn't have effected us much. I am really to paranoid to hand out director roles to anyone, that said you may have received a few billion in POS mods/fuel.

RDC has 40mil isk in its corp wallet, unless he managed to gain access to my account to steal the alliance isk but hacking is mean.
