So here's the message I'm planning on sending them:

Dear Dudley Zoological Gardens,

I am a member of a player community of the online game "EVE Online" and would like to extend our collective congratulations on the birth of "Cub X", the snow leopard. We have something of a soft-spot for snow leopards in our little circle - our group has a "running joke" about a snow leopard cub called Skadi, and we couldn't resist the opportunity to suggest this as a potential name for the little one.

The name "Skadi" derives from Norse mythology, and is the name of an Ice Giantess who was also a goddess associated with hunting, winter and mountains. I hope you'll agree, it's an appropriate name for a snow leopard.

Whatever you choose, congratulations again on the new arrival and we hope the cub continues to grow up healthy and strong."
