Skirmish? You mean they fired on one another? Or was it simply posturing?

Also: Pieter! Look! :D

I'm afraid I don't know :(

I'm not subbed right now, and Morwen (who showed me the pics) doesn't know either. Try to find someone who is present in game :)

They're shooting now. 1 Moros, 2 Nags down.

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

Republic Fleet, I think.

Both factional leaders present had all the diplomatic tact of a thrown brick.

* Louella Dougans looks at the people who say "Minmatar are traitorous savages who need to be enslaved for their own good"

* Louella Dougans looks at the situation in Colelie.

This isn't exactly disproving their point!  :o

They're shooting now. 1 Moros, 2 Nags down.

Is this an event, or is it entirely player-driven? If the latter, is there Concordokken?

dreads cant be in colelie, so its all CCP live event, besides twitter had this sequence:

(-3h) Scope News - Reports would indicate that a sizable squadron of Republic Fleet vessels have just departed from Dudreda V - Moon 3.

(-1h) Scope News - Reports would indicate that the group of vessels spotted earlier today have converged on the edge of Uttindar, in Metropolis.

nothing further being reported after this.

I also note Esna in the Gallente defence fleet. Did he change sides while I wasn't looking? Or is anyone the Matari are shooting at a side Esna wants in on? Inquiring minds want to know, especially enquiring minds who are not currently subbed (but who does have in his hot little hands a 60 day GTC written in Icelandic)

Edit: does this mean the Federation is going to stop paying for the Elder fleet building program?

Er, I wasn't on either side. I was in a neutral interdiction fleet while it was still thought we could jam out both sides, but as soon as things started going bad I refused to fire on either side and just started buzzing around the field doing search-and-rescue operatons.
