That light pits, used to hold ships in place, are filled with complex electronic equipment, have no safety boundaries, and are lit with a dim blue light when not in use? (The Burning Life p. 77)

Ava Starfire - that came out great! you should probably force your friend into more collaborations XD

*prefers being asked, not forced*

I guess my turn now. >_>

I don't draw a lot unless inspired to (so I don't do art for people on request), and most things I do draw don't get finished. This one did, though. I like surprising friends with art!  :D  It's easy enough to know who those two are, so I won't say.  :P  Besides, said friend has it linked on his in game bio.

Evelyn, those are great drawings - do you do commissions?  If so, what's your going rate?

Also, as I just read this thread for the first time from front to back, just want to say that this drawing is awesome:

I really miss the old Gallente hairstyles, they were trendy and helped give the game a bit of "far future" feel to it.  Sort of the "we're doing whatever we want to do, deal with it" attitude.

Today's styles make most women seem like they're goth, princess Leia, or butch. :(

Yeah, I just saw again, and gave me some nostalgic feelings as well. I like the new hairstyles as well, but some old favourites are definitely missed, like the old Intaki Mohawk, which is the haircut Ché actually has/wants.

The new character generator is great, and most characters seem much more human than before. I miss a lot of what made EVE avatars sci-fi though. Amarr need silver tattoos and giant headdresses. Caldari need metal faces (and chins!) gallente need multicolored hair and clear polymer hairpins that look like stations.

Rin already had one go-around as a slave. She had to get shot to get out of that one! (It's a long story)

Also, Evelyn - I showed that to my alliance mates, and they thought it was really funny as well.

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

Sakura Nihil - i've not done commissions very often. usually just for friends. though i'm not opposed to the idea i guess. as far as rates... *shrugs* something akin to minimum wage, lol... though i'm not sure how realistic that is. or how exactly it might convert to isk. :P

Fair enough.  Let me know if you're ever interested in the idea, consider it an open offer.

I'm a terrible artist, but Ava did an amazing drawing of Madeleine and Lasa :)

Some awesome stuff here. I LOVE the little Slaver hound plushie!! I am jealous of you people who do so well in color. I havent been doing much lately, having some pretty serious troubles with depression. I saw a doctor about it, finally, and have been given some meds (and an OK from the charity who pays it) to see a psychiatrist. Hopefully I can get this balanced, because when I am "down", I just do not want to do anything.

Color is new to me, and the medium I have available is some color pencils. The other day I sketched and colored this one. Need better pencils...
