There seems to be a lot of people who take the RP in this area fairly personally, it seems, which is interesting.
I can tell you that Damar in particular is a difficult guy to talk to ingame. He is certainly way too involved in the whole plexing/capture in the name of the State.
From where i sit, a general QCATS perspective, I-RED fighting other caldari militia is an amusing outcome, specially given our short "friendly status" in the past. Said agreement was of course originally intended to be short-lived, but tactically important.
Thats why most of the time we don't shoot I-RED at all in low-sec, we understand you guys are not there to cause trouble or be a pain in the ass.....you are just doing business and business is good for everyone (at least as long there is no political meaning to said business).
As to ILF, we don't have a clear view, ILFs accusation of us/them behaving as pirates is kinda laughable. You see, most of our pilots are already outlaws or quite naughty (-4.5 sec rating for example), most of that comes from the idea we operate as privateers within the warzone and we will engage hostile or potentially hostile targets. The horrors of war really, as i bet there are many Real-life military men in warzones that have to distrust those bystanders who walk around.
Either way, ILF is on the "lets wait and observe" type in the list of organizations who hang out in the area. Not because you are going to somehow become terrorists or troublemakers, but more ouf of the idea that you are not taking sides except your own, and therefore you could swing to either side (Fedo or squid) in the current conflict to further those goals.
Either way im in the process of bringing an idea that will create some interaction between ILF on I-RED on QCATS soon.....stay tuned
