I say keep going. The Japanese game market deserve it for not "seeing the point" of first-person shooters and being obsessed with on-rails RPGs where the developers just want to make movies really.

Sony's behaviour towards the 'hacking' community plays into this a lot. Companies like Microsoft have been known to interact with grey/black hats when the need arises. Sony just tend to scream 'HATE' and throw lawsuits around on a whim.

Doesn't exactly make you popular.

DUST514 is utilizing this console!

I want to play DUST more than anyone, and I know I will NOT be putting my faith into PSN.
I really hope DUST does not take a hit from this shit.

Have a buddy with a PS3; loves it from a hardware perspective, but is so fed up Sony over with how it handled of GeoHot's modification efforts he intends to never buy another Sony product (including PS3 games) again.

He will take the free ones.

Maybe this is just a clever ploy by CCP to get out of their commitment to the PS3 for Dust514 after the first hacking attack.  :psyccp:
