You guys know... Coke = Coke-Cola - the soda?  Also in certain areas of the US it's normal to say, "Want a coke" instead of "Want a soda".

I had a friend tell me that, like, he went a a restaurant in New Orleans, and asked for a Coke, and the guy was like...what kind?
down there, soda/pop= coke and if you want actual  coke then its "just coke"
