Standard KP-V prefix is HMVS (His Magesty's Vanguard Ship; thanks Jakiin!).

Similar to Math, I'll have a set name for a particular hull-type.

Agreed though, that when flying solo, an "RP" tag is like a bucket of chum in the water. I had a talk not too long ago with a pilot who was watching me run a mission in his SB. My Crusader's name, "HMVS Bloodwing" had drawn his attention and he was wondering at the meaning. I explained the prefix and that "Bloodwing" was due to the nice red racing stripes.

For the rest of my time in that area though i changed the name to "Ham Sammich" and didn't draw any further interest from the locals.

Dude, way to totally back down from potential for non-consensual RP

A ship in harbour is safe, but that's not what ships are built for.

Oh i like a good non-consensual RP.

The Goons for example can't stand it. Buncha gamers they are.

But since this guy initiated the conversation as OOC and was pretty cool, the RP wasn't appropriate. Besides... I wanted to finish the mission before his friends showed up and chatting with him helped prevent me getting ganked.  :D

KOTMC is supposed to use the tag, SotR, which stands for Sword of the Righteous.  I use it about 50% of the time since it does take up a lot of space.

Most of my ships are named for the area, Auga Angel, Roushzar Rebel, that sort of thing.  Sometimes I name them after ancient  gods/goddesses to help me keep them straight in my hangar, aka an arti fit hurricane may be SotR Artemis.  A duel repper ship may be named SotR Janus (two headed god).
