A Veik in Amarr
« on: 16 Oct 2018, 07:42 »

Just as a bit of context.

No, it's not trolling.

Yes, the indefensible will continue to be defended in character by those who remain the product of a society that I would describe as a military-theocracy whose institutions are designed to promulgate religious conquest; slavery; the power of a semi-corrupt aristocracy; and True Amarrian privilege.

... I mean, I suppose if you never sounded it out it wasn't too blatant but come on now. With the portrait, the edge and all that stuff...

... it was pretty damn blatant.

Yes, there has always been an Amarrian travelling salesman ever since I started the Eve beta from Earth and Beyond and chose the Empire because I loved lasers.

There is the story people see a hint of in public with my characters, and then there is the story that has been unfolding for over 16 years (fuck I'm old).

The at times public displays of things like, a one Hevaima Gesakaarin disappearing to be replaced by a Mathias Kurovassi, the sudden appearance of Veikitamo Gesakaarin appearing in Mies, Veikitamo all of a sudden getting a TCMC stuck in her head -- they're all part of the underlying story being moved, and they appear to have little to no context if you have not been involved in it.

The context of those actions can only be understand if you know the correlation of those faces to the former face of the Roden Shipyards operative and SDII agent known as Mjalnar Gessenier, and what he did in the Fed can only have context if someone knows who the Amarrian travelling salesman is -- which no one does except me.

As for picking the name "Kezak-Akarin" I believe Eve must always be about consequences, and it is a fundamental copout to me to not let myself be party them, both good and bad. Sure, I could have just moved my personal arc under a very "clean" identity, but I feel that would be lame.

The name is intended, people are meant to accuse Vykiomi Kezak-Akarin of being Veikitamo Gesakaarin IC otherwise I feel there would be no correlation or consequence for me to work with.

Just keep in mind the Amarr came well before the Caldari.

Always have a fondness for Matias. Great fiction there as well.

Break a leg on the new path.

I have a feeling things are going to get messy. As they usually do.

Welp, bring it on!

I don't even have Vykiomi in any channels IC or OOC and I still know her mere existence is likely causing a mess.

Because as history has shown me, the following circumstance is usually true:

>Ignore Veik, she's irrelevant!
>I LITERALLY CANNOT STOP TALKING ABOUT VEIK
