So what about this "Plague"

I am definitely digging the "Pathogen" storyline out there.

There is a lot of reporting and at the same time "nothing going on attitude" which is adding to the suspense?

What about everyone else?

"...On a station in Gelfiven, a lone silhouette stands before a viewport contemplating a peoples' waning faith in their Republic, not unlike the darkening moon beyond."

Interested to see things like this unfold, and hopeful that players get to chip in on the storyline too.

I unfortionally just heard about it, and haven't had enough time to read up on it. What little I have heard, it sounds like a nice story-line. What I don't know yet, is if via the story line, it jumps into a station that we can dock at, if the station will go into lock-down, meaning that we can't dock or un-dock (if your unlucky to be there when it happens).

It is a great storyline. Especially when Cass is asking help from all the Amarr captains out their and she is rebuked because she a Sani.

Oh well... she did try to warn them  :D

The outbreak in Amarrian space is the only outbreak so far to not happen in a facility run by the local sovereign power. Loyalist Amarrians don't have a reason to help. We're probably all hoping that the internal quarantine fails. Mentor Raish gets a lethal dose of justice and the Amarr Navy gets an excuse to burn the SoCT station to a cinder with Concord's blessing. We'd be more likely to help probably any other station owner given the events of the last couple years.

The fact that it was a Sani Sabik trying to organize publicly simply means loyalists would organize their own response privately and snub the Sabik anyway. Still it was/is fun RP  8)

Definitely.

However Cass wouldn't see this way. Too many times "Loyalists" acting behind scenes tend to wait and see before striking. And perhaps this what frustrates her more so.

That being said. This time there a few from the "Loyalist" side to actually reach out to Cass (for what ever reasons) and quietly support her journey to Efu. And she does see fit to travel into the wilds of Ariada and without escort she would would probably be podded for just being at the right place at the right time.

So with the SoCT announcement, anyone thinking this will turn into another research race a la T3D?

Probably a tie in to the new project discovery (like the drifters with examining cells).
