Greetings and Salutations

Hi everyone,

I'm a new player who's really been taken with the RP aspects of EVE and I want to try to get a hang of this enormous and intriguing world.  I jumped the gun a bit by posting my character on IGS before I found out about this place and realized that I had no idea of where to go post-biography. 

I hit upon these forums by accident and found a treasure trove of advice, lore, and backstory, so I wanted to see if I could benefit from the knowledge and wisdom of you fine folks.
