Hey guys, so, been trying to get my RP game on, and still no success, though the boys in Spectre have a god chuckle when I RP in local while FC'ing, haha! So, how did you come up with you backstories and how far is to far? I will give you an overview of Ace, and tell me if you think I am taking it too far and should cut back, or if you like it and that, thank you for taking the time to read this far, and I hope to see your replies, here it goes.
Ace was born to a Amarrian mother, and a Gallentean father, on Caldari prime in 91YC, he joined the Federal Defense Academy because he wanted to protect his family from the threat of war, soon after graduating he joined the Federal Defense Union, and was in an event where he was hunted by both FDU members and members of the Republic, he was found and protected in a battle by members of the Duty. Corporation, who offered Ace a place with them, he took it up, and has since become an accomplished pilot. Ace believes in the Federation, but believes in the Amarrian faith, his reasoning is the the Federation is freedom incarnate, and that that allows him to choose what ever he wishes with anything he wishes, and he choose the Amarrian faith, rather then being born into, or forced into it, this he believes gives him his strength in combat, and why he follows an extremely strong sense of honour and pride, he speaks Matari, Napanii, Amarrad, and Gallentean, and his highly intelligent and analytical. Fights for the freedom and peace of New Eden, which is normally mixed into his battle cries in some way or another, he wants to bring His light to New Eden, and bring peace, to all, not just the faithful, and to protect it, even if it means his death.
Wears combat armour almost everywhere and carries a Long Broadsword which was his mothers fathers, who was an admiral of old in the Amarrian Navy, is known for wearing a cape with a breastplate, also his grandfathers. Carries an old pistol at his other hip, which was his fathers, who was a ground trooper for the Federation. Ace gained the nickname (This is legit in game btw) from a fight that took place over several locations within Ishomilken, at which he would accept duels, even when his, or the others fleet out numbered the other, earning him the title Pirate-knight of Ishomilken.
That is all I have so far.. What do you guys think? This is what I started him off with, but I haven't had anyone else to bounce ideas off, I like it, and from what I can see, it seem unique, but I dont know if i went to far with the Amarrian/gal thing.. Let me know
