Okay, what is it we see in almost all our world-building? We see human civilization with fancier tech. That's pretty much it. We stick with human cities, human towns, human space stations and variations on earth climates and nature. Be inspired.
I've been doing it wrong for too long. New Eden is guaranteed filled with the most spectacular planets and moons, with the most incredible climates, nature and quirks of geography and human imagination and we're not creating these things.
Of course Eve remains a place where the grimmer sides of human interaction and politics is the primary attraction and that's of course what should be driving our world-building, but let's start making the set pieces better. Couch it in the wonders of space, because space fucking deserves it.
