Name: Thiago Gallius
Title: Lord
Holdings: Barony of Asham-Azor on Sarum Prime II
Liege Lord: Merimeth Sarum
Age: 84
Family: Father and two siblings, deceased. Mother, 112, living within family Estate. Daughter, Lady Hermine, deceased during active service for Imperial Navy. Wife, Lady Gallius, deceased of natural causes. Grandsons Utari Onzo and Miguel Onzo
Medical Conditions: No scarring, no known disabilities.

Backstory (Consider OOC): Third son born of the late Lord and Lady Gallius, Thiago wasn't groomed for command of the estate. His elder siblings were married off to more senior Holder families, and were groomed to take on a life in Amarrian politics. Used as a mans of a cultureal ploy, Thiago was married to a Ni-Kunni sculptor's daughter. While it certainatly had an impact on his standings with the nobility, he learned to love his wife who took a quiet supportive role. Without the pressure of learning to manage a family Estate, Thiago borrowed a small amount of money from his father to start up an agricultural business in the Sarum domain, making a small, but healthy profit. He begot one daughterwith his wie, Hermine, who would go on to serve in the Imperial Navy. While in the Khanid Kingdom with the Imperial Navy, Hermine fell in love with and married a Caldari convert on a trade mission to the area. This went against Thiago's plans, and almost led to him renouncing his daughter, but at his wife's pressing instead he publically criticised her and demanded Akidra to suffer 100 lashes. The Caldari, a Civire, took his punishment stoically while being whipped by Thiago's own hands.

The scandal almost reduced the Gallius name to dirt, but with the assistance of his Mother, Thiago managed to keep the family's estates intact with a renewed pledge to both the Sarum Family and the Throne. He swore the children begot of his daughter would become one of the faith, and be married to good Amarrian families to breed out their Caldari roots. As part of this, he had Miguel raised in his own household, educated by preists and theologians. Miguel's marriage to another Caldari Convert, Kailen Heleneto, was quietly covered up by forging documents making her appear as an ethnic Caldari citizen of the Khanid Kingdom, a move made easier by its recent reconcilliation with the Empireat the time.
Asham Azor is a minor county on the planet of Sarum Prime II. It is named in honour of a member of the Kor-Azor family who died long ago in service of the Imperial Fleet, both a commemorative and political gesture by one of the previous Sarum Heirs. It contains a minor city (name?), a space port and a number of agricultural plantations owned both privately by Thiago, and  others more generally by the Gallius estate. It is considered a small, almost backwater part of the planet.

The Gallius estate is wealthy enough for a Holderis family, but has lost much of its standing as minor nobles. Thiago was never intended to succeed his father. His marriage to a Ni-Kunni was an act of patronage by the late Lord Gallius, an act that was considered a shrewd cultural move but, while loving of his late wife, Thiago's own standing among the other lords for having been married outside of True Amarrian has diminished. The marriage of Gallius' daughter to a Caldari convert against his wishes caused a scandal among the conservative holders, most especially those serving the Sarum, and has resulted in Thiago becoming somewhat of a laughing stock. Liberal Holders, especially those of the Kingdom, might be more sympathetic. It is known through the nobility Thiago is pushing Utari to give up his Caldari citizenship and help rebuild the Gallius family's tattered reputation.

Thiago started off as a character refferenced many times by Utari and my minor character Miguel, but as I'm getting more and more engaged with Amarr RP I decided to start him off as a stand alone. He is Utari's means of accessing the circles of Amarr nobility/general Amarr society so if you're Amarrian and you'd like to RP with Utari in a more formal setting, go through Thiago for some delicious old grampa interference

Utari I know can never inherit a Holder title by virtue of his foreign blood, even if allowed legally, but Thiago certainatly hopes he'll take a more active role, perhaps as his personal chancellor/chief clerk? Conservative Holder characters, feel free to show Thiago as much disdain as you like on his scandalous family antics. He's a conservative himself, but might be open to more Liberal views if they help him climb a ladder somewhere in the Empire...
