The prevailing opinion on this board is that amarr characters that aren't evil psychopath slavers are against PF.

Best to just shelve that character, go play on an alt instead. Save your blood pressure.

I don't think I've ever roleplayed with Ms. Dougans, so I don't want to judge the book.

I suggest you let your heart lead you. Not erp. Just play what you love to play. Be who you love being.  :) If you can't do that because of mechanics. Fuck the mechanics (figuratively  ;) )!
