Maybe (maybe not: I don't see how the Minmatar Republic could be equated to mighty Assyria and the Amarr Empire to the humble Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, really), still not quite the Reclaiming tune, imho. :P

This one had me stumped for a while, until I accidentally sat on my iPod and this started blaring in my headphones. The shortened (and faster) version of Origa's Rise from Ghost in the Shell 2nd GiG is a good fit for Commander Baxter especially given his military background.

And his combat music, of course, rocks out to Run Rabbit Junk.

This was my original response, but over the course of two years my vision of Baxter as a character has changed. I really need to get back into writing RP, because my concept of him now is less "Hoo-RAH" and more "experienced/seasoned/veteran." Because of the character's complexity - which I really haven't done a great job of defining thus far to date (sorry everyone) - I think I'll have to change my original responses to "Landing Peleliu" from "The Pacific."

According to Anslo, this is a very appropriate theme for Rhia. I can't say that I find fault in it.

Makkal's themesong! Free by Lighthouse.

Still fits.

Maybe I Give Myself Away by William McDonald.

That could also be a nice theme song for Nation.

Seeing as the song I originally posted for Katla was a joke, and it's been taken off Youtube anyway...

Under all her pretense, this is how she really feels when she is alone with her thoughts, and all is said and done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeFvdYrNpkA

Nice thread, must up my post count!

"Pet" - A Perfect Circle

That's Havo to a T 99% of the time.

The other 1% he's more <insert Norah Jones song title>, but few see the less psychotic facets of Enkil Akheteru, Callsign: Havohej.

Naira Shandr is not a solidly defined character yet. But what I know is that she is slightly selfish, purposefully blunt and honest to get away with the lies that are truly important. Has a habit that would be frowned upon by her peers, and while she respects her family, is forced into a dutiful attitude that doesn't suit her. So it will end up being a balancing act of personal gain, personal entertainment, self preservation, and duty to an overbearing family and Empire.. So perhaps this

Money Talks - Deep Purple

Money goes to money, yes it always returns, finds its way back to the Big House where it lives alone
Wraithlike silent partners, operators of the system, give words of quiet assurance to an otherwise healthy victim

Pity it doesn't talk explicitly about infiltration and theft, but it'll do.

Hand in My Pocket by Alanis Morisette
I'm thinking this might be good to call CG's theme.  .  .

Samira's themesong would probably be VNV Nation - Gratitude.

Quote
It is not love, if love is cold to touch.
It is not belief, when there's nothing there to trust.
Could not submit, would never bring myself to heel.
Determination grows, as each truth is revealed.

Torn and repaired, just to endure it all again.
Without a reason, for my place in all this pain.
Though well concealed, the scars they just compound.
Until there´s nothing left of what was my former self.

My god, look at what we are now -
without regret for all the things that we have done.

Thank you for all the doubts, and for all the questioning,
for all the loneliness and for all the suffering.
For all the emptiness, and the scars it left inside.
it inspired in me, an impetus to fight.
For the conviction, for the purpose found along.
For the strength and courage, that in me I've never known.
And if it seems to you, that my words are undeserved,
I write this in gratitude for whatever good it serves.

Sometimes I wish, that you could see me now.
In the rightful place, where I knew that I belonged.
Sometimes I wish, that you might someday understand.
to close the chapter, and lay to rest the past.
But nothing would change, we make the best of what we have.
for we are measured by the actions of our lives.
we bide our time, let the future unfold.
Like immortals, in great legends to be told.

My god, look at what we are now -
without regret for all the things that we have done.

Thank you for all the doubts, and for all the questioning,
for all the loneliness and for all the suffering.
For all the emptiness, and the scars it left inside.
it inspired in me, an impetus to fight.

To all who stood with me, when we stood as one.
Thank you for guiding me, for bringing me home.
And if it seems that I'm obliged to say these words,
I write this in gratitude, the least that you deserve.
