Yuri's Night

12 April is an important day in human history!  On 12 April 1961, Yuri Gagarin orbited the Earth, becoming the first human to travel into space.   I am currently planning to attend a Yuri's Night celebration with a bunch of friends this Thursday and celebrate manned spaceflight.

First Orbit includes the view from the International Space Station as it followed the same track around the Earth as that first flight!

Do something to celebrate!
