Or more accurately I wrote a parody, and added it to Cael's IC collection. I've done a few of these in my time in EVE, but honestly I don't think I've put as much care, thought or effort into any of my previous writings as I did with this one.

My original plan was to record it (which I still plan to do so when time is available) and upload a Youtube video to the IGS with the lyrics in the description. But this song was finished a good two months ago now, and it became too damn much to keep holding back.

Every song I've written is about something or someone that's had a distinct influence on Caellach's time in EVE, and the songs are written from his IC PoV. He doesn't mean any insult or cruelty with the lyrics, he's just a goofball, speaking first and one day he might think about what he said.

Hopefully my next piece won't take me near a year and a half to write and complete, but considering how much creative thought went into this one, it might take me that long before I get inspiration for something else.*

In the meantime I should point out Caellach is for hire at all parties, conventions and other social gatherings where there is alcohol to drink in copious amounts, should you wish to hear his musical works live.

And to the PIE bunch, <3 Thanks for being good sports about this so far.

*Because my idea of doing the My Little Pony theme as "My Little Goon Bee" does NOT count.

You should consider recording an album.  God knows there are enough drunken backup singers around to help at every meetup ;) 

Plus if you donate the profits to charity, you might get a little help from CCP.

I swear this line didn't motivate me to start working on another 4-5 songs.


On a serious note I have started working on a few other pieces, and anyone who has singing (or rapping in a couple of cases) talent do contact me if you're interested in lending your voices to this. If I figure on something that's suitable for you I'll give you a poke.

Nice work, take a bow Sir!

Couple of things though, all the songs myself/Caellach parody are IC based, ideally I'd like an album based on the in game world of EVE. OOC based stuff about lag, ship nerfs etc has all been done, I'd like to cover the characters, corps and in game stories more.

Also I'd keep out certain bits of language, even if it's meant in quotation, and I know full well you don't mean it as such but just to be on the safe side. I was pushing it calling Laerise a bitch by my own definitions..

I would totally jump on this, but it'd be a little hard for me to sing as Morwen. (She does sing, IC, but... hurr, g.i.r.l. derpery.).

I'll let you know if I come up with any song ideas, though. :3
