Quote
He says 'yes'. You shall have it. A golden crown, that men shall tremble to behold.

Immediately followed by...

Quote
No, no! You cannot touch me, I am the Dragon. I am the Dragon, I want my crown!

Frickin' awesome end to the episode. Her line that I quoted sent a shiver up my spine, brilliant.

Crazy Tit Lady: "You did not fight with honor."

Cool Scoundrel Dude: "No. He did."

Thats amazing to see again all those epic quotes that I had totally forgotten after all these years.

I have also heard that the 8th episode has been directed by Martin. Can't wait to see it.

Reading the books now, and really getting into it.

The last episode was amazing as well. The 'Golden Crown' sequence to finish the ep was epic.

Its getting better and better with the 7th. Epic ending sequence, as usual.

I wonder why it was released the same week than the 6th though ? Leak ? Something else ? I have no access to HBO :/

They're just trying to promote HBO GO, their online viewing thing.

I actually use it all the time. When it works, it's great. I can watch any episode of any HBO series whenever I want. Pretty good for catching up on Boardwalk Empire.

I finally got around to watching ep7 (You Win or You Die) last night... to quote a friend of mine "shit just got real".

Baelish is an asshole, a rather interesting character. I'm curious what his motivations are, and whether he's pulling a double(triple?) blind this time.

Slightly saddened by the lack of Tyrion and Arya in this episode, two best characters in the series imho, but the episode was full of winsauce as it was.

Baelish is probably one of the most interesting/intriguing characters of the story. When you know that he plays on the same level as lord Varis (the spider)...

And they have dropped a lot of hints about his motivations too, usually when he tells long stories and such things. It might help you to imaginate some juicy scenarios, but I ain't going to spoil them because its awesome. :p

He's been in one scene and I'm already a fan : Tywin Lannister ftw.

And all I thought was "What is Vetinari doing there!"  :D

@Graelyn

/spoiler for those who haven't seen ep7, and slight spoiler for those who haven't read the book./

I consider Eddards decisions quite believable, given his background and code of honor. While he does confront Cersei with his findings, thus prompting the nice "In the Game of Thrones you either win or die"-quote, the actual part where things go horribly wrong is skipped in the movie episodes. IIRC, Sansa is responsible since she told the Queen exactly what her father is about to do, giving Cersei the opportunity to prepare for that last scene. Might want to re-read in the books, since it's been a long time ago since I've read them. But my dislike for poor little Sansa came exactly from that scene.

I liked Jaime's tired response to Kaitlyn frothing at him after Eddard dies.

"There are no men like me lady, only me."

Especially in that utterly resigned tone of voice.

Looking forward to how they handle Brienne, The Red Woman and those kooky folks in the Iron Islands.
