I like it here.

After watching Chatsubo turn into a minefield it is nicely leisurely to just share ideas, read them, instead of having a constant struggle for dominance in some intangible game that only exists in our heads.

Also it has been nice to see that when I see smoke, the moderators have already nipped the flamewar in the bud.

Eve in general is viewed as uniquely vicious compared to other MMOs. In general I appreciate this about the game, but this viciousness historically has spilled over into OOC interaction among the RP community - go check out Chatsubo if you doubt this. That the mods have managed to create, in the midst of that, an environment where we can have a civil discussion is nothing less than miraculous.

I still get some of my inspiration to play this game because of some of the stuff I read here, and I'm not sure I could say that without it, especially if my only source of information came from the IGS. I think with this community there comes a whole new set of challenges that still need to be overcome, but the overall premise of the site is sound and I at least have faith that the moderators will keep to the same values they started with.
