Should faction war PVE be taken more literally than empire missioner PVE?
I think it might be, because of the beacons? FW missions put up a beacon don't they? So anyone can come along and see things going on?
Like, Player A is doing a mission, Player B turns up, observes A doing things. Players C and D also see a beacon in system.
Like that mission where you've to shoot some industrial ships. Anyone in system would see a beacon appear, and if they flew over, they'd see a player ship fire on the industrials, wouldn't they?
Like, if you shoot Zor or Kruul in a normal mission, pretty much it would only be you who would know it was Zor (again). Unless the mission was probed.
But in a FW mission, if someone turns up at the beacon, they'd see what was going on, and possibly mention it to other people, e.g. in intel channels. "Pilot A, in system X, missioning."
Pilot A is then placed, by multiple people, as being in system X, doing stuff.
Dunno about the plexes though, those things are rather odd as to explain what is going on. Orbit a doodad, ignore the npcs, win?
