We're getting reports in now of a cold front moving down into hell, expect highs in the upper forties this week with temperatures falling steeply off as this system begins to move through, expect whiteout conditions throughout, as well as damaging winds, and temperatures cold enough to cause hell to actually freeze over.

Awesome.

It will bring all adolescent boys into their manhood and they will be repeating ad nauseum 'I've got Balls of Steel.'

It's actually not that surprising to me. They've had most of a game for many years (about 8 or 9) at this point, they just needed a designer with some competence.

2K suing their pants off and giving the title over to a competent designer was all they ever really needed here.

Wired had a good story about that last december: http://www.wired.com/magazine/2009/12/fail_duke_nukem/

I played the original Duke Nukem side scroller when I was, like, in high school I think. One of the only shareware games for which I actually paid (more content!)
