Player Goals: My intention for this character was to create a technocrat and scientific purist that was the sweet-little-monster that both disturbs and adores simultaneously. I like exploring philosophical, political, and intellectual subjects from the perspective of an individual unbound from moral and ethical considerations, but isn't just an outright mustache twirling villain.

Character History: The youngest of three sisters, Nola was born and raised on the ice planet of Pelille VII in a domed mining colony. Her mathematical ability and aptitude for problem solving were recognized at an early age. She was enrolled in several junior science institutions where she often far exceeded her peers in performance, but her unorthodox methods left her politely excused from the courses. Ultimately, most of her knowledge had been through self-education, and even through her course at the Center for Advanced Studies, she was only allowed to stay with significant donations from her sister Kaleigh.

Until recently, Nola had been content to work under the care and guidance of her sisters insofar that her work was not impeded. Having met Lillith Blackheart during her tenure at Rho Dynamics, her research had been delving into murky depths of questionable behavior. She finally took hold of her own destiny as the CO-CEO of NeuroGEN where she has remained since.

Physical description: A short (5'3"), mousy Gallentean with big hazel eyes and short, bleached white hair. Soft spoken and often devoid of emotion, Nola's voice is often confused with that of an adolescent. Although olive in complexion, the long hours either spent in a laboratory or space leave her skin pale and almost sickly.

When not in her pod she is often wearing a lab coat or other sterile surgical outfits depending on the project she's working on. She is rarely found in public or wearing casual attire.

Psychological profile: (spoiler inserted for those who don't like to see character motivations)
[spoiler]As a scientist and inventor, Nola is by nature a curious individual with a hunger to understand the function and inner workings of people and things. Unbound by ethical or moral considerations, she possess an almost child-like naivety in her pursuit of knowledge, often perceiving humans as nothing more than guinea pigs to experiment on. Morally, she perceives the sacrifice of people for science a worthy cause to pursue the evolution of the species. While she has no compunction about sacrificing people for science, she does abhor physical violence on any level and is easily upset in the presence of it.

A reclusive individual, Nola is most comfortable in sterile laboratory environments in the company of her artificial AI, or lost in the virtual realm when in pod. This is in part due to several traumatic and violent episodes in her past that lead her to maintain a distance from humanity, perceiving them to be violent creatures in need of domestication. There are few exceptions to this rule, including some family and the few friends she actually has.

Oh great, another character I'm likely to be addicted to RP with if I ever meet her. :D

I love the idea, and I bet she'd be super fun to meet!
