The Sisters of EVE supported organization, Chapter of Solace has been founded and is in need of like-minded individuals who desire to help and aide others.

]What is the Chapter of Solace?

The Chapter of Solace is a non-profit, non-violent humanitarian organization supported by the Sisters of EVE. We seek to bring hope, happiness, and health to any and all who need or want it. We hold no hatreds or reservations, we serve any and all, regardless of beliefs, ideals, or politics.

]What is the goal or goals of the Chapter of Solace?

The goals of the Chapter of Solace is to bring help to any and all who need it. Whether a slave seeking freedom, or a capsuleer seeking redemption, we will provide any and all aide that we can. We desire only to see people healthy, happy, and safe.

]What services does the Chapter of Solace provide?

The Chapter of Solace provides many different services, ranging from Search and Rescue [Deathcans], Relocation of freed peoples and those dislocated by war, transport of humanitarian aide, protective escorts, redemption services, and rehabilitation.

]Does the Chapter of Solace charge for it's services?

No. Never will the Chapter of Solace or it's members ever ask for payment for their services. All services will be rendered free of charge.

]Does the Chapter of Solace take or ask for donations?

Yes. The Chapter of Solace operates entirely of the good will of the people and those they help. With this, the Chapter of Solace will not decline or refuse any donation, be it monetary or in physical goods or volunteer service. The Chapter of Solace does encourage that any and all that have received aide from any of their members try their best to donate to our cause so that we may continue our humanitarian efforts.

]Does the Chapter of Solace accept anyone, regardless of Empire affiliation or politics?

Yes. The Chapter of Solace does not judge a potential member based on their Empire affiliation or political beliefs. Same goes for religious or philosophical. All that we ask is that anyone who desires to join as an official Brother or Sister have a desire to help others in a non-violent, non-criminal capacity.
In this endeavor, all men and women are equal.

]I am already a part of another corporation or another group, but still wish to help, can I and how?

Absolutely. As mentioned before, the Chapter of Solace operates on the good will of the people, thus, will always accept donations that will aide our cause. This includes, but is not limited to monetary donations, material donations such as goods or ships, volunteer services, or other forms of aide that may support and allow us to continue our efforts.

]I am not a pacifist, but I wish to help, how may I do this?

Simple, just ask. Much like out benefactors, the Sisters of EVE, we understand that there are times when violence is necessary. Though we seek all other avenues for a peaceful solution first, sometimes we must resort to violence to aide others. In this, we accept and field those who prefer combat over peaceful means to help in our efforts, often serving as protectors, guardians, and escorts.

]Are there any rules or regulations one must follow as a member of the Chapter of Solace?

There are, yes. Like any other group or organization, we follow a simple doctrine in an effort to to best serve those in need. The doctrine is as follows:

• -All are free.
• -All are equal.
• -All life deserves respect.
• -All can be redeemed and saved.
• -All can do good and be good to one another.
• -One will carry no political or religious affiliations above their duty to humanity.
• -One will seek to always render aide to one in need.
• -One will never decline aide to another in need, regardless of beliefs or ideals.
• -One will always seek out a peaceful resolution to any and all problems before resorting to violence.
• -One will attempt to remain free of any and all temptations that would damage or harm another.

Does this corp have any not-creepy-at-all fascination with the EVE Gate, jump/wormhole/warp technology, and devious research ventures with pirates?

Currently, not officially, no. Though it is a branch of and supported by the Sisters of EVE, it is more like Food Relief. Ambriel isn't a very scientific minded individual, but that may change in the future.

Idea and the concept is pretty nice. Very much a niche venture but I wish you the best of luck in making this work.

Sisters are one of the more vicious entities out there and they will not hesitate to fuck you up if you stand in the way of their goals. Where as your venture seeks to be a wholly humanitarian enterprise, which SOE quite frankly is not. Curious how deeply connected CoS is with with SoE activities in the whole.

Well, how i'm playing it off is, with the lack of lore for the SoE currently, Ambriel wasn't told much. Especially since she was planetside during the majority of her time with them, she knows their religious dogma, though does not necessarily follow it, and knows of their more scientific ventures. It will be a point of contention for her as more about the SoE comes to public light.

Vincent, having read Burning Life, the impression I got was that your average SoE operative is doing the job for the sake of good generally-- that odds are the majority of the organization is indeed humanitarian. It's just that you also get Sanctuary and the upper-end interest in suppressing Capsuleers and reopening the gate-- which is probably far outside the scope of the average SoE agent's view of the organization.

Depending on how you play it, it'd be interesting to get Sisters factionalism-- with SoE FR agents going, "Um. Why are we funding them? They seem weird." with regard to Sanctuary expeditions.

I'm fairly sure the SoE's machinations are largely unknown.

i am very torn here. I love the SOE their exploration side is very interesting for me as a wormhole pilot. I think I would like to work with this group as a volunteer basis, and hopefully if you develop later involvment with wormholes and the eve gate I can help with that too. message me in game or add me and If i can i would love to RP with you.

I like the corporations concept, but you haven't gone into much detail as to what you'd be actually doing in-game as a group. Would you mind elaborating to that effect?

Well, I'm still working on that a bit, to be honest. A lot of what we do would be RP oriented and less game mechanics oriented. To be honest, I don't know if what I have in mind will work or not, as most corps are either combat, industry, or exploration oriented.

I do believe I will have us focusing on the latter two, and mainly Exploration of those two, as that is what the SoE do. But a lot of what we will be doing is more roleplay than anything else.

you could always do relief operations, currying large transports to random positions that "need aide" if you travel through null or low sec it could really be exciting and even involve escorts and scouts.

That is one of my thoughts, yeah. According to the lore, the Sisters are allowed access pretty much anywhere, even by the Sani Sabik and Sansha. If I could somehow work with that in some manner, it could be pretty cool.

Have you thought of PI ? Producing humanitarian stuff like vaccines, food, etc. Not sure what to do with it eventually, but even solding it on the market is already something I guess...
