Setting the controls to the heart of the game
« on: 05 Jul 2013, 07:43 »

Sup,

I'm a casual hardcore EVE player approximately 2.5 years into my capsuleer career, which has so far revolved around solo and small gang PVP, funded mostly by trading, but exploration and wormhole sites have played a major role as well. Some may know me from EVE forums, where I sometimes post... a lot. I hope to transform the energy I've spent into game mechanics and meta-gaming discussions into something more productive.

I recently joined Ten Thousand Years, and I'm looking eagerly forward to immersing myself into the ever-evolving science fiction lore of New Eden. I've reduced nearly 1000 spaceships into vapour and harmless particles, most of them without much motivation beyond the thrill of hunting, and now I'm searching for a deeper reasons and motivation for engaging my blasters upon enemy vessels.

My last RP experiences date all the way back to the age of paper, pen & dice games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, so I have a lot to learn and I hope joining Backstage will help me along the way.

This is a forum on steroids tbh. The rate at which content worth reading is being generated could get you pregnant.

Never would've expected that. I suspect playing any sort of modern or sf game might've raised a few eyebrows though, given that a lot of the adventures for them seem to be based around heists or cons or sneaky spy stuff.
