• Build power and influence in order to create an order of knights (though might just get the order going without the wealth and power)
• Prove that it is possible to work cooperatively with all four nations openly and honorably (whatever that means...)
• Prove that more can be accomplished through respect and goodwill than can ever be done with threat and violence

On a deeper level:

• Overcome her lack of self-confidence
• Find the strength to be herself (more or less the same as the first point I guess)
