The Procrastination Game
« on: 02 Jun 2013, 13:02 »

The name of the game is to talk about what you plan to do when you next log in, with the unspoken aspect that you will be too lazy to actually do it. Try and be creative!

I'm going to write up channel descriptions for the interior of every ship class I own, and I'm going to grind the money to finish my ship collection.

I'm going to become a director of Goonswarm and disband their alliance.

I plan to name all the crew on my Thorax and give them a small write-up.

Work out how many new skills I've totally missed that are now 'mandatory training'.

I'm going to calculate the material costs for building navy ships with the BPCs in comparison to the cost of buying them outright with ship+chip.

Go on a massive posting spree on the IGS in reply to all the topics my toon and myself would care about that I've ignored posting in so far for their complete and total pointlessness in interacting. After all this will alter opinions and the constant verbal assaults will decrease as a result of this.

(Hint: no they won't.)

Build a DUST corporation based around a Shuijing school Achur monastery, focused primarily on swift, coordinated tactics employing Minmatar scout suits (for their speed and nova knife bonuses) and nova knives. Monks will seek enlightenment through the way of the sword (or the paired plasma-charged daggers, as the case may be), training to become one with their weapons and move with the pulse and flow of the Totality.

I need to get the PS3 so I can join this corporation. Knife murder in fps games is always fucking amazing.

In DUST they're presently one of the few weapons that can one-shot a well-armored heavy if you use quality gear and skill up. Combine that with a fast, quiet suit that doesn't show up on mini maps unless an enemy looks straight at you, and you've got yourself one surprisingly good argument for bringing not one knife to a gun fight, but two.
