VNV Nation. Various albums but right now Of Faith, Power and Glory is playing. I don't think I've met a VNV album I haven't liked. Fabulous music for when you just need something playing in the background of what you're doing, or when you're just sitting on a ferry/driving/public transport and dream yourself away.

If you like ambient stuff like this is highly recommend

They do a lot of very spacey music all ambient stuff.

I listen to them a lot when I play Eve.

Boards of Canada is also another awesome "just drifting about"  band.  Dayavan Cowboy I think is the name of the Song I first heard by them, an excellent track.
Broke my heart when I found out they aren't actually Canadian :(

Ah nice, I like ambiant. I'm very much into Solar Fields myself. Will definitely look up to Atra Aeterna.

Just discovered a metal band I've never heard before and I'm sort of blown away. Monuments - The Amanuensis (album) is one hell of a ride. Apparently they're quite well known but I've never heard of them before. The guitarist in particular fills me with awe.

Having trouble keeping up with subgenres though. Never even heard of Djent before, but apparently this is it.

I was going to post again in this thread, but it seems like I am the only one who posts pop music periodically. It has been a really good year for Top 40 music.
