My work is done
« on: 18 Mar 2013, 17:11 »

Possibly.

With the resurrection of the Live Events, and the re-activation of the factional news channels, there is now a great deal of things happening that people can have arguments and explosions about on the IGS and ingame.

Indeed, there is so much happening that some days, it is a struggle to stay informed of all the latest news.
And new threads spring up like mushrooms after the rain.
Gone are the days when you could read all the new topics on the IGS in a couple hours a week.

It's glorious.

It does mean, that there is somewhat less of a need for my particular talents (such as they were), in generating things for people to argue/RP about.

RL circumstances have changed somewhat, and I do not quite have the same amount of time to run up stories as I did in the past, so I may not be able to write as much as I once did.

Whatever happens in future, I'm glad to have been able to provide content for people to enjoy.

Frankly, Muck Raker, I'd like to see you stick about. There may not be such an "immediate need" for player-generated content, but frankly I greatly enjoyed the often-joking commentary on the RP community your pieces contained.

And if not? It's been absolutely hilarious.

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

I will be sad to see tabloid work that presents itself as a joke worth laughing at (rather than the RL tabloid press with is a joke worth litigating against in many cases :P) was innovative and a great addition to the community.  Even if you perceive no need now, your services will be called upon again in the future, and I hope you give the community the honour of receiving a reply.

Please don't go!!!

Seriously, Muck Raker is awesome! If you can stick around and throw out an article here and there, it'd be awesome. Otherwise, RL comes first and we'll miss you!
