Another player asked me yesterday why I "liked" their IGS posting, as our "characters" have opposing politics.
I explained that for me, I don't necessarily see "liking" another persons post, in most cases, as an in-character occurrence.
If "I" consider that a posting is well written, appropriate and advances the topic at hand, I may well "like" it. Even if the posting is in opposition to James' opinion or point of view.
They were of the opposite opinion that one should "like" only in-character.
Lucky for me words like "should" have very little impact, that and James is perceived to have a loose grip on reality.
So can justify supporting things I sometimes oppose in-character in that manner.
I was wondering what other players opinions regarding "liking" are.
