I have been meaning to try a voiceover track for one of our vids and I finally had a chance to sit down and record one today.  Please enjoy "You Were Born for This" now with more talking:

Hm, it gives the video a very different flavor than the one I originally pictured. That's not a bad thing, just different.

I personally think I prefer the original, if only because I can let the voice that's reading the text sound however I wish (which I typically picture a very prominent, military commander voice). I like the added voice over for the background information (the comms chatter, the original conversation, the news anchor when the Nyx is about to crash) a lot! It's still a very good video!

I imagine the voice of the main narrator in this is something they might play to newly commissioned Caldari pilots at the SWA before they let Aura chime in with her CONCORD-sponsored "helpfulness".

Lesson Learned: I should have never let you see a non-voiced version.  :sigh:  I am left to wonder what a prominent, military commander voice sounds like in your head.

Um, think along the lines of Russel Crowe (even though I'm not a fan) in Gladiator, or D'Argo from Farscape. Mostly just a deeper, prominent voice.

If I tried to sound any deeper, I think I'd be in "Dark Knight" territory.  Did my best to channel the TEC narrator guy from Sins of a Solar Empire.  Gravely and such.  But the filter I used for the main narrator track cuts the bass quite a bit.

It wasn't the voice you used, it was the speakers I was listening on. I listened to the movie at work (because that's where I was when I saw your post). Once I listened at home, much better.
