So have the events in the novel already happened or will they even be remotely tied into any in-game news announcements?

IE when should we be able to deal with any of this information IC?

....On 2nd thought 95% of the book is knowledge none of us could possibly know, right?  Aside from perhaps the space battle in Amamake?

Already happened. From what I can tell:
It all happens before the Incursions start, as noted by the last (very revealing) chapter.
This is a good thing, as we all know the kind of horrible cluster **** that ensues when trying to link media tie-ins to game expansions.  :yar:

I'd actually wager that near 100% of the novel is unknowable... 95% is a very, very generous estimate. It does, however, create a very slim window of "inside knowledge" that could be used by unscrupulous RP individuals.

:whistles innocently:

Ah thank you for that!  I believe my brain's coping mechanism for some of what I was reading was to blank it out, sort of like what happens to some victims of tragic events.  I'll return to that end-chapter and take another look.

Don't worry, 95% of it will be topics of discussion on the IGS within the next week.

Careful guys, Kuvakei has a plot device, and isn't afraid to use it.
