Imagine, if you will, that CCP executes a masterstroke and EVE (or your love for it) weathers the storm, successfully implementing a vanity items market and living on happily forever and ever.  What dream vanity accessories/clothes would you want for your avatar?  These could have a big impact on immersion and RP and despite its numerous present flaws, I expect that the Incarna engine will be able to handle a limitless variety in the end.  These are some of the things I'd like to see:

• Visible cyber prosthetics (hands, arms, legs, skulls); the Caldari avatars used to have some extensive Terminator-esque options for the face and head
• Implant hints; even if they're just vanity items I'd like to be able to add Illusive Man style effects to eyes, for example
• Glowing halos (around the head or even whole body); imagine an Amarrian traditionalist/Theology Council egger who cows his flock with "cheap tricks", I remember this being done in Foundation and have always longed to see it in more places
• Personal shield; an extension of the above, a faint shimmer around the body and projection device on a belt or bandolier would give the impression of having a first-rate personal defense system
• Holsters and sidearms; PF says you can have weapons on a station if they're the high-tech kind with automatically disabled fire selection, they'd be useless as weapons but would still make a statement
• Dog tags; with and without visible faction/corp insignia
• Cultural accessories; the various odds and ends that our avatars used to wear all the time: transparent visors (Gallente), metallic and lace head dresses (Intaki and Ni-Kunni), face masks (Vherokior), Secret Service "bluetooths" (Achura), etc.

But (I wouldn't drop more than a few dozen million on any of these things, incidentally) seriously, more clothing choices.  Hell, even some basic colors would be nice.  Choosing between rust/olive/black/white/gray isn't exactly a thrilling palette to work with.

Also decorative katanas, there was a time when every other khanid and achur trotted around with one. Seeing much less of that lately.
