Kiruss was born on Gallente Prime to a manufacturing firm's chief public relations officer and the owner of a small minig business. His parents were dedicated professionals. Kiruss was thus frquently left to his own devices and raised by nannies and caretakers until early adolescence when his eyes first opened to the world's many hedonistic wonders.
Displeased with his wayward ways but focused on their careers, Kiruss' parents pulled the strings to send him to the Center for Advanced Studies, an academy suitably far from the revelry of Luminaire and the family business. Although their expectations were low, Kiruss showed surprising natural talent for mechanical and electronic engineering and thrives as a CAS student. After freshman studies and several internships with notable megacorp subsidiaries, he was chosen for the capsuleer training program.
Kiruss graduated from the CAS in YC113 with a pod pilot's license, a grant of ISK from his parents, and a promise to keep to the straight and narrow. A long-time cybernetics enthusiast, he has reportedly been a suer of the implants that are commonly known in the media as "Happy Chips". In his late youth on Gallente Prime and early years at the CAS, associates claim he avidly indulged in the more exotic variations of these devices at so-called "chip parties".
