All Caldari cities are utterly indistinguishable from each other.  (Page 238, of The Empyrean Age)

Hey, my tepuaavahabu made it into PF.  *coughs*

Though, er, if everything looks the same, how does this explain Oiritsuu's 'palace' in Wild Earth? ("When she had this place built, as much in the middle of a wilderness as she could make it without offending the people of the State, she added a greenhouse easily half the size of the entire palace. She spent most of her time there, patiently waiting for the world to catch up with her plans.")

Clearly all Caldari Cities have a palace with a green house.

Interesting flavour text, but I'm finding the "all"s a bit limiting and unlikely (and a couple of the statements were clearly written by tourists who misunderstood what they were seeing ;) ).

Nope.  These are not written from the point of view of a character, they are exposition text.  Except for the 'Federation is close to a Utopia', which is a quote from one of the CONCORD inner circle members.  I couldn't resist putting that one in though, especially when the following chapter goes to show just how much of a utopia the Federation actually is.

These are all indisputable facts about the world our characters live in.  I for one am looking forward to Templar One!

These are all indisputable facts about the world our characters live in.

Let's have a chat some day about authorial voices and biases.

Okay, I'll take the bait. Even if TEA says, for instance, that "The Minmatar republic is incompetent and corrupt", I interpret that as indicating a tendency rather than an absolute. I think there will be officials within the Republic trying to do the best they can. I think there will be a lot of interactions involving influence and gift-giving which are totally "the way the Tribes do things" and which will look like corruption to outsiders but will be understood and approved by cultural insiders. And I would find it unhelpful for nuanced roleplay and world-building to republish those statements as if they're just the indisputable way things are and any attempt to layer subtleties onto those aspects is urdoinitrong.

I looked through the other pages and didn't see it, so I apologize if it's on here, but I found this tidbit today, hadn't noticed it before:

... that CreoDron's advanced stasis webifier drone - the Spider drone - cannot be sold on the public market due to legal issues regarding the patent, but many were still produced for the Federation Navy, and many of those were stolen by the Serpentis and sold on the black market?

Did you know... Sansha Kuvakei was an industrial mogul before founding his Nation? Moar here.

...The True Slaves are loyal, implant controlled slave troops of Sansha Kuvakei? Moar here.

...that Frentix is a principle drug booster of Sansha's Nation? (I might need to do some more research on this. There's a Sansha commander who is notorious for running huge Frentix operations)

...that the Blood Raiders and the Sansha have occasional border disputes, despite being allies? (Citation needed lol)

Those came immediately to mind. The last one I'm sure I've read somewhere, but I'll probably have to reach into the dark corners of EVE to find the source again.

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Sansha's_Nation

Updating slightly.

...That the Blood Raiders, Sansha's Nation, and Guristas are allies more of mutual hatred for the empires than anything else?

...That True Slaves, after a variable period of time, become permanently apart of the Nation's ways?

...That True Citizens are those who seek out to join the Nation?

...That True Citizens are typically scientists, researchers, philosophers, and other intellectuals who have bought into Sansha's utopian vision?

...That Sansha's Nation doesn't have a traditional economy, to the point that currency doesn't exist?

...That Sansha Kuvakei's purpose for his Nation is a harmonious society of shared consciousness and boundless progress?

...That Sansha vessels are well-known for their alien aesthetics and advanced technology?
