As many were complaining about being cheated by CCP because they couldn't get their precious killmail for a capital when the Nation side would succeed in an area (and despawn), I'm inclined to say that I strongly doubt anybody bothered to fit a cargo scanner into their fitting.

My above suggestion (now edited, though see Senn's quote for comparison) is intended to point out alternate approaches. Intended less as "urdoinitrong" and more as "here's another way".

Was largely anticipating a swarm of small and medium gangs. The CVA fleet coordination threw that entire plan out the window, since the tower was not designed for that.

It was still pretty fun to watch them kill rooks and kings afterwards though, still mystified about that.
