You do realize the franchise didn't so much name itself after a genre as much as the genre was named from the franchise, right? It's not the earliest source (like Neuromancer etc) but it was what brought it to the masses.

Really good point. Altered Carbon did the same. So it's good to see that CDPR are not afraid to follow through.

Old news by this afternoon, I spose, but to keep the development archive going, here it is: 2077 gameplay preview.

Contains mild spoilers of early missions and is definitely NSFW.

I'm guessing this was more or less a direct port of the E3 preview (with added comments), but I can't say as I didn't hear what was leaked by that one foolish guy.

It is exactly that gameplay preview, yes. It follows the script exactly from the reviews and descriptions of the demo. I am hyped as fuck, because every single thing there got me hot and heavy. It's perfect from what I can see.

I'm quite interested in the game. Sadly, my rig won't be able to run it on anywhere near ultra settings which is a bummer.
