Some folks have asked the difference between EOH Brawl and EVE Bet, which both allow players to gamble with ISK.
EOH Brawl is setup for
parimutuel betting. Our friends at EVE Bet use
fixed-odds betting.
EOH Brawl charges a 5% vig on betting pools. We are fairly confident that this is lower than all of our major competitors, but I could not find published information to support this claim. I encourage people to investigate how much they're paying for services.
EOH Brawl has no maximum increment or maximum wager. EVE Bet does, in some cases, impose these restrictions, most likely due to the house's risk in fixed-odds betting.
EOH Brawl currently only offers binary pools (Party A vs. Party B). EVE Bet offers pools with more than two options.
EOH Brawl has until now only offered wagering on in-game events. EVE Bet offers wagering on real-world events.
EOH Brawl accounts are linked to EOH Poker. When you make deposits with us, your ISK can be used for wagers or for playing ring games at our poker tables. When EOH adds new services, they will likely also share a common account for players' convenience.
I welcome you all to try EOH Brawl for Alliance Tournament XII wagers!
